Paula Aceto grew up in Toronto and has spent her career fundraising for not-for-profit organizations focused on advancing access to health and dental care, affordable housing, and basic necessities. Since moving to Nova Scotia, she has continued her advocacy work with the Ecology Action Centre and now serves as Director of Development at the Schulich School of Law, and she is proud to serve on the Board of Directors of the Sable Island Institute, supporting its mission to promote and protect the natural and cultural values of Sable Island through research, collaboration, and education.
