The level of interest in the Institute’s 2026 Raffle for a Trip to Sable Island was very encouraging. Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and supported the Sable Island Institute.
The three winning tickets were drawn on Sunday August 23rd at 2:00 pm, at the Alderney Landing Market, 2 Ochterloney Street, Dartmouth.
Sable Island Institute personnel Anne Muecke, Dominique Gusset, Zoe Lucas, and Lisa Phinney Langley, and Fred Stillman (Kattuk Expeditions), were on hand for the draw.

Third ticket drawn, Third Prize of a Trip for One: Kandace Gall
The Trip will take place with Kattuk Expeditions on October 15th, 2026 (rain date October 16th). Zoe will meet the visitors while they are on the island.
