STEAMER SKIDBY ASHORE.
Halifax, N. S., March 4.—The steamer ashore at Sable Island proves to be the Skidby, from Westhartepool for Baltimore in ballast. She went ashore Jan. 31. The captain and crew of twenty-five men were landed here today by the steamer Lady Laurier. The Skidby is high and dry. She was driven ashore by the ice.
